July 1st through the 3rd the (FIA WTCC) FIA World Touring Car Championship will be in Porto Portugal for the 11th and the 12th rounds of the season. It all happens at the Circuito da Boavista in Porto, and this is the third time that the Championship has visited the Circuito da Boavista. It is an amazing race that takes place along the streets of Porto, and hosted the Formula One Grand Prix of Portugal for fifty years previously. It was upgraded in 2005. Other races coming up in this series include Germany, Spain, Japan, China and the last stop in Macau.
Robert Huff from Great Britain is in first, with France's Yvan Muller in second. Alain Menu and Gabriele Tarquini are third and fourth and Tom Coronel is in fifth place. Tiago Monteiro and Kirstian Poulsen are in sixth and seventh and the rest of the top ten includes Norbert Michelisz, Javier Villa and Darryl O'Young.
