Hidden valley darwin

Hidden Valley Raceway is located five kilometres from Darwin Airport and 10km from the city's central business district. The Raceway supports a state-of-the-art Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) track (2.87 kms) that features a 1.1km main straight and a challenging back section of curves and hairpin bends.

The winning formula of beautiful Dry Season weather and the revered Hidden Valley race track inevitably results in exuberant atmosphere and perfect race conditions.

With world-class motor racing, outstanding after-race concerts, on-track entertainment, and infamous Territory hospitality, many interstate visitors count the Darwin event as an annual ‘must do’ on the V8 calendar.

Whether it’s a trip to Kakadu, a stop off in the Red Centre on the way up, or a day out trying to catch that legendary 30 kg barra, the local economy receives a huge annual boost as a result of the influx of visitors getting out and about and enjoying all the Top End has to offer.

The 14th Darwin meeting will also see a new support category added to the mix to ensure the crowd is kept entertained.

Record crowds of just over 47,000 made their way to Hidden Valley for three stunning days of non-stop motor sports action in 2010. 2011 will no doubt echo the triumph of previous years, and I look forward to seeing you there.
